Class Info:
The number 1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. Learning to stop the bleed is a lifesaving skill. With quick actions, you can be trained and empowered to save a life.
You will receive a presentation on packing a wound, and using a tourniquet, which is followed by hands-on practice of applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding.
This Class lasts, about 1 hour, no more than 90 minutes, depending on class size.
Who can take the ACS Stop the Bleed Course?
13 years and older Stop the Bleed courses are available to anyone interested in learning to control life-threatening bleeding. We limit our Class to 13 years and above for our larger classes, But will allow Young students in smaller Groups. and on special request.
